Ordinals

Ordinals are the citizens around whom Aetherion is built. Roughly ninety-five percent of the city's population is registered Ordinal, which is to say: registered to receive the standard civic services — Echo wellness, sector-appropriate vocation, household integration, and routine wellness review.

Ordinals are not a hierarchy among themselves. The class is broad and flat: a network technician, an archive specialist, a transit coordinator, a wellness practitioner — all carry the Ordinal designation and the civic services that come with it.

To be Ordinal is to have, by every measure the city tracks, a good life.
