Talon Voss

Aetherion's official records say he died ten years ago in a fire that did not, on examination, leave a body.

In certain corners of the city, a different version of the story gets told. In that version, he was an Ascendant who learned something about his own city he was not supposed to learn, and learning it was the kind of mistake nobody is supposed to walk away from. In that version, he walked away.

Most citizens have never heard the name Talon Voss. The ones who have will tell you, if you ask them, that they don't really believe the story. They will not tell you that they keep telling it.
